Freaky Animals and Weird Creatures
You might as well have seen many strange animals and creatures, but we assure you that most of the ones we shall present in this article you have only dreamed of, even though they are very real. Let us move on momentarily to those pictures of the strangest/weirdest animals that can be found in wildlife!
Bronze statue of a komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis)
The new Dragonborn, who tamed a Komodo dragon before his tenth birthday!
Aye-aye (Daubentonia madagascariensis)
Aye Aye, could you believe it? No, seriously, could you, it’s name is Aye Aye.
Fathead fish aka Mr. Blobby (genus Psychrolutes)
Errrm, what? Yes, a blobfish, this is called a blobfish, or Mr. Blobby by some.
Emperor Tamarin monkey (Saguinus imperator)
A monkey with a mustache, what more could you ask for?
White-faced Saki Monkey (Pithecia pithecia)
This fellow looks a bit strange, no?
This might not be much, but it is the mouth of the hagfish.
Proboscis Monkey (Nasalis larvatus)
Monkeys shouldn’t be drinking! Then why does it have a red nose?!
Three-toed sloth (genus Bradypus)
Indeed, this looks interesting, a three-toed sloth crossing the street.
Nice lobster, no pinching!
Pink Fairy Armadillo (Chlamyphorus truncatus)
Cute, isn’t it? They are sold as pets, these armadillos.
Wow! Axolotls are actually sold as pets, and they look like something imaginated by a child, even though they are quite real.
Nothing super strange about a baby alpaca, it’s only been shaven.
Frill-necked Lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii)
An aristocrat lizard.
Narwhals, narwhals, sitting in the ocean! This could possibly be the most interesting sword fight we’ve seen. Or a tooth fight, more precisely.
Sucker-foot bat (Myzopoda aurita)
A bat? Or a sucker footed bat? “Scientists say” that it could evolve into a very successful tall buildings top-floor window cleaning pet.
Baby South-American Tapir (Tapirus terrestris)
A lot of people would want a pet like the South American tapir.
Red Panda or Firefox (Ailurus fulgens)
Aha! Gotcha, Mozilla! Here is your firefox, or a red panda, however you prefer to call it.
Star-nosed Mole (Condylura cristata)
This looks like a flower mole, but it’s not… It’s a star-nosed mole.
A Human Faced fish! This is a freaky animal…
A turtle-lizard-snake! Wrong again, just a Matamata.
Frilled shark (Chlamydoselachus anguineus)
The frilled shark looks more like an eelfish, or a fisheel. It was found in deep waters near Japan, sadly, it died several hours after it was caught. It’s ok, scientists will find another live prehistoric (thought to be extinct) shark in a few millenniums… Or we should hope so.
Cantor’s Giant Soft shelled turtle (Pelochelys cantorii)
Doesn’t get much lazier than this. It looks like it played chicken with a heavy tow truck and lost. Or maybe it’s just created that way – by a rear–discharge concrete transport truck!
Deep-sea spider crab (Encephaloides armstrongi)
A spiked spider lobster! Everything everyone wanted in one weird creature! There’s a rumor saying it came from Mars and is plotting to conquer the Earth.
Hedwig’s evil brother.
We hope that we made you feel a bit more imaginative after reading this article about freaky animals. Surely, one of these weird creatures made you think about your own imaginary animals, which actually may exist somewhere… Who knows.

Thank you!
What a crazy cool selection
